INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE
THE SHIPPING COSTS OF YOUR COMMODORE BACK TO YOU WILL BE REVISED IN THE FINAL INVOICE.
Is your Commodore 128Dsick? Do you get a black screen when you turn on your trusty C128? 1571 internal disk drive not spinning? It's probably not dead - just needs a bit of T.L.C. (and a new RAM chip or two).
Repair costs £89.99 + parts. Because most parts are custom ones in the Commodores, they run at £10 each, but if it looks like it'll be too expensive, we can put in sockets so that new chips can be put in at a later date with ease. Where possible we give you the option to save costs, so for instance if a C64 character ROM has died, we will offer to use an EPROM to replace it at a cost of £5 instead of the original chip at £10. Some chips are unfortunately still expensive, such as the renowned SID chip, and these cost £15 to replace. Postage back to you of your working Commodore is included in the price. This includes a recap and check-up of all parts of the C128D, including the power supply and floppy drive, using high quality capacitors.
In the case where we can't repair your machine (it's possible!) we won't charge anything for the time taken to look at it, so we'll refund your payment minus our postage costs.
