We can burn an 8K EPROM with the data of your choice. Because we have the TMS2564 EPROM as well as the 2764, these are a direct replacement for the mask ROMS in computers. The normal 2764 will not work without rewiring, but the TI 2564 is designed to be a drop-in replacement.

For example, your BASIC ROM in your ZX81 has died. Ask us for a replacement and we'll burn an EPROM with the data from an original ZX81 ROM. To fit it simply bend the top four pins (two on each side) up, and fit the remaining 24 pins (pins 1, 2, 27 and 28 are left overhanging the socket).

Please Note: We can only supply ZX81 BASIC EPROMs as a replacement for original ZX81 ROMs. We cannot supply the BASIC ROM for use in clones or hardware emulators.
