If you want us to refurbish your Spectrum +2, simply buy one of these "items" and we'll get back to you with instructions on what to do next. Before long it'll be back with you like new!
Average turnaround takes 4-6 weeks but we appreciate your patience at busy times.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • Complete case disassembly and thorough cleaning of the keyboard and the case.

  • Fitting a brand new rubber belt(s) inside the Datasette mechanism if required.

  • Replacement of all electrolytic capacitors with high quality Vishay caps.

  • Cleaning the Edge Connector and ensuring compatibility with divMMC Future.

  • Providing proper RGB switching signal for the SCART lead. Lack of this modification may result in an unstable picture

    Following upgrades can be added to the final invoice upon request:

    Fitting a GAL chip programmed with the "Umbrella" code by Velesoft which removes incompatibilities with some 128K games (known as “ULA rain”) - Add £4.99 - Applies to GREY +2 ONLY
    Recommended if running games such as “Fantasy World Dizzy” and some demos

    Fitting brand new round rubber feet (manufactured in 2017) - Add £6
    Recommended if missing or damaged

    The Refurbished Spectrum +2 will be covered by our 1 Year Warranty.
